The death of veteran Hollywood Actress Mary Tyler Moore who died at the old age of 80 was a life of fulfillment well lived.
The Hollywood television icon who charmed America with charisma on her hugely successful 70s show—Mary Tyler Moore died in a Connecticut hospital today (Wednesday, January 25th, 2017).
Her representative issued the following statement to the press regarding the death of Mary Tyler Moore:
“Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine. A groundbreaking actress, producer, and passionate advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mary will be remembered as a fearless visionary who turned the world on with her smile.”
Mary Tyler Moore has been living with Type 1 diabetes since she was in her mid 30s. She had long suffered a variety of health problems, and in May 2011 underwent elective surgery to remove a benign tumor of the lining tissue of the brain.
